![]() ![]() As you exit the coffin room, you run into a bunch of stairs, one leading left, and one to the right. All dazed and confused, you wonder around the castle, Chateau Aiguille, considering they never really give you much direction in this game. AS you exit your bed chamber, you enter a room with a bunch of coffins. He states it is merely his job to report to Orlouge that you are awake, then he vanishes. You are met by a dark figure by the name of Ildon. When you first start out, you are in a creepy room with a strong gothic feel to it, yeah I love it. And the narrator is a white haired girl by the name of Gina whom lives in Rootville, a small village in the region of Facinaturu, which is ruled by Orlouge. The path of Asellus is more like a story being told. The chapter structure of the game are strange to me, considering certain events might not occur in the same places twice. As a people, I love the mystics, because they are pretty much like vampires, but without the whole blood drinking thing. Not sure how to explain the feeling.Īnyway, back to Saga Frontier, my favorite character has always been Asellus. The Playstation didn't have the feel of the other systems of it's time. Back when the ps1 was the most amazing system made and brand new. Most importantly, stop reading this and play the game.I have been playing Saga Frontier since it has come to Vizzed and I must say it brings back so many memories of my youth. Nothing worse than getting stuck inside a dungeon you can't finish! This way, if you really can't proceed, you'll be able to roll it back to a point where you can prepare accordingly. Use the quick saves when you're in a place you can't back out from. Do you hard saves when you're outside of missions. If its your first time, try to go majority human they're more traditional and easier to understand, and so long as you start early, probably the strongest anyway, as they have higher ceilings long-term.Įmilia Specific? Emilia has an easier time learning Sword and Martial Arts skills than Guns, despite how it seems. Monsters and Robots are extremely quick to power up, and can babysit humans early, or quickly fill a role late game. Humans are the ultimate long-term investments they take time to get good, but they're worth it, so find some you like ASAP, and start working on 'em. On a similar note, fill out your five person party as soon as possible and stick with 'em. Run off the beaten path at every opportunity - ignore the story, go exploring! The game rewards you handily for it, and the fact that monsters difficulty scales works in your favor here, allowing you to tackle all sorts of side dungeons whenever you want (so you might as well do it early, while all that stuff is at its utmost value!) ![]() In general? Resist the traditional JRPG urge to stay in one place grinding out levels. ![]()
